Deviations of the monthly average total ozone from the long-term mean (1983-95 for Fresno, and 1979-95 for the other three stations). The percentage anomaly has been averaged for the four midlatitude U.S. stations, and smoothed with a three (3) point running mean. The trend of this average is -4% per decade.
