The CPC issues 6-10 day and 8-14 day outlook maps showing temperature and total precipitation departures from normal with an accompanying technical discussion. In addition, experimental cold weather outlooks for 6-10 days are made daily.

 
Precipitation and Temperature Outlooks
  • 6-10 Day - The CPC produces a United States outlook map showing temperature and precipitation departures from normal for days 6 to 10 in the future as well as a text describing the outlook. The Outlook is issued daily between 3 PM & 4 PM Eastern Time.

  • 8-14 Day - The CPC produces a United States map showing temperature and precipitation departures from normal for days 8 to 14 in the future as well as a text describing the outlook. The Outlook is issued daily between 3 PM & 4 PM Eastern Time.

  • U.S. Temperature and Precipitation GIS Data - GIS shape and raster files for the United States 6-10 day and 8-14 day temperature and precipitation outlooks.

Excessive Heat Outlooks - The CPC produces U.S. excessive heat outlook maps every day around 3PM Eastern Time.

Wind Chill Outlooks - The CPC produces U.S. wind chill outlook maps every day around 3PM Eastern Time.
