TABLE T1 - Atmospheric index values for the most recent 12 months. Indices are standardized by the mean annual standard deviation except for the Tahiti and Darwin SLP anomalies which are in hPa. Note that positive (negative) values of the 200-hPa zonal wind index imply westerly (easterly) anomalies; positive (negative) values of the 850-hPa zonal wind indices imply easterly (westerly) anomalies. Anomalies are departures from the 1981-2010 base period means.
